Dr Saima Niaz

Dr Saima Niaz is a Consultant Psychiatrist, based in London currently working in the National Health Services. She is on Specialist Register of GMC, UK and also a Fellow of College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists.

She has extensive clinical, teaching and research experience. She has numerous research articles published in peer reviewed journals including collaborations with Harvard Medical School, USA.

She has special interest in raising mental health awareness. She regularly makes public appearances on radio and TV programmes. She has worked with the World Psychiatric Association (zone-15), organised and chaired scientific sessions/ coordinated conferences and contributed in print and electronic media.

Dr Niaz has been working as social secretary of Association of Pakistani Physicians and Surgeons UK for its London Chapter. Dr Niaz has been actively supporting the charitable activities of Allama Iqbal Medical College Association UK.
